About the book: The Story of a story by Ravish Mani is an absolutely inspiring book for authors or aspiring authors. It covers different aspects, layered beautifully talking about the protagonist, arousal of emotions in readers, belief formation, etc. The book systematically breaks down the story of a story with excellent examples to help the reader understand very well.

The examples deserve an extra mention, they communicate the message diligently, and I personally need to re-read the book a couple of times more to understand the depth it wants an author to reach.

There is a spiritual touch to the book where the author talks of desire, karma, pain and pleasure. It is truly to be read to experience this aspect.

The author’s laptop had crashed two days prior to the submission, but the effort of launching the E-book typed on a phone is commendable. The cover page could get more creative as it is the first impression of he book.

The author has given brief information, strong words and even stronger titles that are on point. The not so long book can be read soon, but an aspiring author must make notes while reading. The miscellaneous topics are a bonus to the readers. The author’s earnest desire to share information is mentioned in his own words “It invoked a desire in me to provide useful information to aspiring authors by sharing my expertise in the field of storytelling by launching a book through this Carnival.”

This book can be downloaded from the Blogchatter website. It is a must read and will keep you engrossed with the story of a Story. It has something very transparent and raw which must be experienced.

Being an educator, I completely agree with the need to write a book on Stress Free Education, with cut-throat competiion as the author says, I quote “As parents, you play a huge role in reducing your child’s stress. Education should be about learning and not about being stressed.” Rewarding the effort is important, not the result is a major take-away for me. That has been my mantra as a parent, I am glad that this is being conveyed in print (digitally).

One thing that I liked about the book is the author tells you what could be the tough road ahead and then offers the solution. The author communicated to the reader like a dialogue saying , I quote “I know how difficult it is to make kids understand the value of eating healthy during exams….” I understand…, etc. where the reader feels personally dressed by the author.

Nutrition tips for exam giving kids is a chapter I thoroughly appreciate. The tips and the sample diet chart is indeed very useful.

The chapter Importance of team sports for kids By Divya Malhotra hightlights the fact that TEAM sports is essential for children. Each chapter has its own significance and is important for the overall development for the child. Good Education is the foundation of a Good Citizen, who in turn plays a great role in the development of a nation. Every child is important and must have Stress Free Education. The author, I believe wants to tell the reader: Take note of every emotion and react appropriately.

The minute I saw the cover and read the title of Life Is An Ocean: Myriad Of Emotions, I felt completely in sync with the book, and wanted to read it instantaneously, The wild, strong ocean waves are clearly comparable to our thoughts that go wild, crazy and sometimes create a tsunami of emotions that overwhelm us. As I began reading, it felt like brilliant suggestions being put across in simple language, and at the end, it left me with some deep self-reflection. Jazz up your life and People we meet are my favourite chapters. I have re- read them a numerous times. Sow The Seed Of Sacrifice For Better Future has been well-explained.

The book has its high when the author delves deep into personal validation. The suggestions there are well, applicable to all. The author can work on the aligning and slight edits on the language. Baring this, the book communicates the message loud and clear. The infinite emotions experienced during a lifetime must be experienced and handled with prudence.

I quote from the book. Your honesty towards yourself will attract the honest people around you. This is so true and i have experienced this myself. Your emotions are valid is another favourite quote from the book, it is a life-saver on a bad day. The author has given references from a couple of websites to substantiate the right way of dealing with these emotions. After reading the book, I could feel a positive and refreshing energy urging me to get on a flight of happiness and jazz up my life.
